CAFE ISTANBUL opened in 2001 as part of the popular Easton Town Center, it is modeled after the Grand Bazaar (Kapali Carsi) in Istanbul, Turkey, one of the earliest enclosed shopping “malls” located in Old Istanbul with over 4000 shops. With its vaulted ceilings, sealed concrete floors, and low-slung 8-foot wrought iron chandeliers, the impact is the warm, subdued feel of Old Istanbul. It features a large patio surrounded by arborvitaes and planters.
